The Farm and Gardens

We both love gardening and the Lodge vegetable garden supplies us with wonderful fresh organic produce for much of the year. The warm summer climate ensures the herb garden also plays its part and a small young recently planted orchard will soon provide fruit for the Lodge.

We have many hundred peonies growing which during October to December provide a stunning display.

We run about 30 sheep on our lifestyle farm. The family pet, William is popular with our visitors and the two merino rams also like to be fed by you.

In spring our lambs are so cute and often there is an orphaned lamb that will need to be fed…..guests love helping out with this as we found at the high country lodge we use to manage.

There is an extensive garden and woodland area where you can walk, relax or perhaps even have lunch in.

We also have a bee hive at the far end of the peonie area…great for pollination of plants and also for beautiful tasty honey.
